In this client-facing role, you will handle individual and small business tax returns while providing bookkeeping and other essential business services. Great opportunity to join a growing busy team. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail. • Collaborate directly with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide tailored solutions. • Manage bookkeeping tasks for small businesses, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. • Offer advisory services to support clients in maintaining effective financial practices. • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance. • Assist clients in planning and executing tax strategies to optimize their financial outcomes. • Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax filings and related processes. • Proven experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns. • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including compliance standards. • Ability to manage bookkeeping tasks for small businesses effectively. • Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions. • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in tax preparation and reporting. • Capability to provide strategic tax planning and advisory services. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
