Job Description Hays is working with one of the top civil general contractors in the northeast who's looking for an Assistant Project Manager. They are family owned and have grown by 30% for the last several years. You would be working on heavy civil utility projects throughout Long Island. There is a high growth potential and they have great benefits. Responsibilities Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines. Responsible for RFIs, change orders. budgets, schedules, and submittals. Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues. Work directly with the Project Manager and attend meetings with them. Help with morning safety meetings and communicate with the subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction Related Degree. 1 - 3 years' of experience with civil construction projects as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer. Preferred experience with Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel throughout the New York City Area.
