YOU’LL DO: You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and
supervising commissioning and testing activities for electrical
substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality
requirements, and safety regulations. You'll lead multidisciplinary
teams during commissioning, providing technical guidance, and
resolving on-site issues. You'll review, validate, and document
test procedures and results to ensure alignment with design
specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
You'll collaborate closely with contractors, design engineers,
operations teams, and clients to support successful project
execution. You'll maintain project timelines, budgets, and safety
standards throughout all phases of testing and commissioning.
Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of
working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or
center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for
collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients,
peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Must have a BS/BA degree in an engineering
discipline from an ABET (or Owner approved equivalent) accredited
college/university, and 5 years’ experience in the following areas:
Construction, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment,
Relay protection and control systems, Start-up and commissioning of
electrical equipment and systems, Electrical Field engineering, Arc
Flash safety training, Troubleshooting of electrical equipment or
systems. SCADA and communication systems Specialized advanced
training is also required (e.g., PTI. WPI, ECNE PUI, a graduate
level engineering degree). Professional experience in commissioning
and testing of electrical substations, including supervision of
construction, commissioning, and energization activities
Professional knowledge of electrical systems, protection & control,
and substation equipment Ability to lead and coordinate
multidisciplinary teams in the field Professional experience with
problem-solving and decision-making under project deadlines Strong
communication and stakeholder management abilities Willingness to
travel and work on-site across New York State BONUS POINTS IF YOU
HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
