construction, transportation, energy, and defense. About the Role:
The CNC Laser Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing
process by precisely operating computer numerical control (CNC)
laser cutting machines to fabricate metal and other materials
according to detailed specifications. This position ensures that
all components are produced with high accuracy, quality, and
efficiency, directly impacting the overall production output and
product integrity. The operator will interpret technical drawings
and blueprints to set up and adjust machines, monitor the cutting
process, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential
to maintain a safe working environment and meet production
deadlines. Ultimately, the CNC Laser Operator contributes to the
seamless flow of manufacturing operations by delivering
consistently precise and defect-free parts that meet customer and
company standards. We have an opening for a 3rd shift position.
Minimum Qualifications: * Proven experience operating CNC laser
cutting machines in a manufacturing environment. * 3 years'
experience required * Basic understanding of technical drawings,
blueprints, and measurement tools. * Familiarity with safety
standards and procedures related to laser cutting operations. *
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting materials and
standing for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: *
Certification in CNC machine operation or laser cutting technology.
* Experience with programming CNC laser machines using CAD/CAM
software. * Knowledge of various materials such as metals,
plastics, and composites used in laser cutting. * Strong
troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. * Previous
experience working in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines
based on job orders and technical drawings. * Load materials and
adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting dimensions and
quality. * Monitor the laser cutting process, making real-time
adjustments to optimize performance and prevent defects. * Inspect
finished parts for quality assurance, measuring dimensions and
verifying compliance with specifications. * Perform routine
maintenance and cleaning of CNC laser equipment to ensure optimal
functionality and longevity. * Maintain accurate production records
and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns to
supervisors. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to
troubleshoot issues and improve cutting processes. Skills: The CNC
Laser Operator utilizes technical skills daily to interpret complex
blueprints and set up machines accurately, ensuring precise cuts
that meet exact specifications. Attention to detail is critical
when monitoring the laser cutting process to detect and correct any
deviations or defects promptly. Mechanical skills are applied when
performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues
to minimize downtime. Communication skills facilitate effective
collaboration with team members and supervisors to optimize
production workflows and resolve challenges. Additionally,
adherence to safety protocols is essential to maintain a secure
work environment while handling high-powered laser machinery. We
have openings for a 3rd shift position. This position runs from
7:00 pm to 5:00 am Monday - Thursday. We pay a premium for 3rd
