share best practices across the Tech Centers.Role Overview:As a
Technical Product Manager, you will become part of a
cross-functional engineering team delivering data products, drive
the planning, execution, and completion of technical data and
integration projects. You will use your technical and program
management experience to handle risks, issues and develop
mitigation plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams
to ensure projects/products meet scope, timeline, and budget
requirements. You will also develop project plans / product
backlogs and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
Essential skills include a strong technical background, proficiency
in project/product management methodologies (Scaled Agile (SAFe),
Scrum, Kanban), and excellent organizational abilities.What you
will do in this role:Program Management Office (-75%)
- Lead and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of
multiple large-scale technical projects / products, ensuring they
meet strategic goals and objectives.
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting,
financial reporting, and ROI analysis. Ensure that projects are
delivered within budget and provide value to the organization.
- Define, document, and execute tasks. Work in a team, actively
participate in all phases of the project / product. Identify,
assess, and manage risks effectively.
- Undertake basic risk management activities. Maintain
documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation
actions.
- Participate in improvement projects and innovation activities
impacting PM effectiveness
- Drive and provide input on departmental
initiatives/administrative activities
- Collect and use feedback from customers and stakeholders to
help measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management. Help
develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Understand the technical aspects of the project to make
informed decisions, provide guidance, and communicate effectively
with the development team. This includes having a deep
understanding of the technology stack, architecture, and potential
technical challenges.Building Agility and Agile Delivery (-25%)
- Work closely with senior executives, business leaders, and
other key stakeholders to ensure project / product alignment with
business needs. This includes presenting project / product
roadmaps, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams,
fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence through Agile
practices.
- Create detailed product roadmaps with Agile principles in mind,
defining the scope, and ensuring that projects are executed within
budget and on schedule.
- Facilitate Stakeholder and Product Demos, Retrospectives, and
Customer Feedback loops.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine
the product backlog, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering
the most value-add features and functionality.What Should you have:
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
or any Technology stream. Advanced degree or PMP or SAFe
certification is a plus.
- 11+ years of experience in technical project management /
digital product manager, with a strong understanding of project /
digital product management methodologies (Scaled Agile SAFe
Certified, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Experience managing project budgets, performing cost
estimations, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with
financial regulations, and making informed decisions to optimize
resource allocation and project investments.
- Proven experience in leading complex technical projects in a
fast-paced environment - both Waterfall and Agile-driven.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of software
development, systems integration, or related areas (e.g. API,
cloud, databases, CI/CD pipelines, TDD, etc.)
- Excellent vendor management, organizational, leadership, and
decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Apptio
ATP, Trello, MS Project).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with
cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to
