Here at 3D Dental , we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our high paced team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.*Duties*- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials- Take dental x-rays and process them for diagnostic purposes- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as needed- Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff- Collaborate with the dental team to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients*Experience*To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry- Familiarity with pediatric dental care is preferred but not required- Ability to operate and interpret dental imaging equipment- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices effectivelyJoin our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care.
