We are looking for a Full Time (5 days x 8 hour days or 4 days x 10 hour days) Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-paying, flexible position doing skilled nursing visits to adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in the Home Health Care setting. The pay and benefits are generous for this Registered Nurse Position. The Registered Nurse can choose to work 4 days a week instead of 5 days a week, and your day off is totally up to you! The 4 day workweek would be 38 hours per week-- the nurse would work a 9 hour day plus a half hour paid lunch each day. So, the hours if the nurse chooses the 4 day workweek would be 8am-5:30pm. It is preferred that the RN have Home Health experience, however we will consider Registered Nurses who have at least 2 years of experience with acute care in a Hospital setting. The field registered nurse position in home health care is sometimes called a case manager, as you will be managing the cases of your home health patients. Home Health is paid for by Medicare, and Medicare requires nurses to fill out a document called OASIS when starting any patient on services. The OASIS document is computerized, but in paper form is equal to a 38-page questionnaire, and then a lesser number of pages to update it for recertification and discharge.
