Job Description IMCS GROUP is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Case Management - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 37.5 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Department: Case Management *Required Certifications: BSN, BLS, PRI, SCREEN* Role: Expected to have knowledge of discharge planning and making referrals. Will typically be working on a MS or Tele unit and will split the floor with a Social Worker. Must be able to function independently on the unit and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and patients for discharge planning. Expected to round on the unit with physicians/team. Need to have a positive attitude, be able to critically think, and good time management skills. Utilization Review (UR) is a separate dept- UR will do insurance approvals and arranging transportation. Need to be able to handle at least 20 patients. Typically placed on Med-Surg or Tele Floors following Internal Med and Family Med. - EMR: Allscripts 2 days of Hospital Orientation- will include EMR training; 1-2 wks with a preceptor depending on how fast they can be checked off.
