Job Description Job Description Job description: Pre-Operative Care: Assess and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and documentation are ready. Intra-Operative Care: Provide direct nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries, including monitoring the patient’s condition, managing surgical instruments, and assisting the surgical team as needed. Post-Operative Care: Monitor patients after surgery in the recovery room, ensuring proper recovery and transitioning to the next phase of care. Surgical Team Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other operating room staff to ensure smooth procedures and patient safety. Documentation: Accurately document all patient care, procedures, and post-operative observations in the patient’s medical record, using the facility's charting system. Patient Education: Provide pre- and post-surgical education to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular surgery and recovery. Sterilization and Safety: Ensure a sterile environment during surgeries and assist in maintaining safety protocols in the operating room. Required Certifications & Licensure: Active RN License CT 2 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery or cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or equivalent) Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
