Job Description Job Description We areseeking a Locums OB/GYN
Physician to provide in-house coverage at a busycommunity hospital
in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. This role offers a variedschedule,
strong nursing support, and the opportunity to work closely
withOB/GYN residents in a collegial environment. Compensation :
$240Per Hour PositionDetails Call Shifts: 3–4 shifts per month
Scheduling: Completed 1–2 months in advance Coverage Model: 100%
in-house (no off-site call) ShiftOptions Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00
PM 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM Weekends: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM ClinicalResponsibilities Cover
Labor & Delivery floor and ED OB/GYN consults Perform gynecologic
emergency surgeries as needed Manage laboring patients from
sign-out through delivery Participate in daily nursing huddles and
coordinated care Work primarily with an OB/GYN resident; physician
functions independently Nurses may escalate to backup MDs if
additional support is required PatientVolume & Acuity Average
Deliveries: 2–3 per day Case Mix: Mostly low-risk with some medium-
and high-risk patients Nursery Level: Level II Gestational Age:
Deliveries for patients ?32 weeks Requirements: Board Certified or
Board Eligible in OB/GYN Comfortable with in-house solo coverage
and emergency GYN cases Strong collaborative skills with residents
and nursing staff Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to
obtain) PerthAmboy is a historic waterfront city in Middlesex
