Job Description Job Description $ 24.6477 per hour The Adult Day Care Center located @ 120 West 106th Street , NY is seeking a part time, 30 hours per week, Program Aide to join our team. Job Summary: The Program Aide provides assistance in providing nutrition, activity and clinic services to older adults in the Day Care Center. He/She acts as support staff for program needs. This position reports to the Program Director. Job Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency. Minimum of 6 months prior experience working with older adults. Specialized Skills and Competencies: Ability to undertand and follow instructions Communicates well with others Able to work in busy and stressful situation. High flexibility in performance of responsibilities. Age Related Skills and Competencies: Ability to anticipate safety standards, Able to assist clients who are unstable in walking. Able to discern and is aware when frail elderly need assistance.
