We seek DSPs who are empathetic, patient, and skilled in providing personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities for Direct Support Professional (DSP): Client Care: Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients. Daily Support: Assist clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately per OPWDD guidelines. Behavioral Support: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and foster positive outcomes. Team Collaboration: Work with therapists, clinicians, and case managers to develop and implement care plans. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols. Requirements for Direct Support Professional (DSP): Experience: 3-5 years of experience in OPWDD settings. Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Independence: Ability to work independently and adhere to OPWDD regulations.
