Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist
specializing in school settings to support K-12 students during a
leave coverage. This contract position is located in the Bronx, NY,
and focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic services that
enhance student participation and success in the educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy
evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring tailored to the
needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs). Use evidence-based practices
to promote motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors
that facilitate academic and social success. Maintain accurate
documentation and communicate effectively with the
multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Participate in
meetings and provide consultation to school personnel regarding
strategies and accommodations. Desired Experience and
Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in
school-based settings. Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational
therapy practices and educational support services. Ability to
manage caseloads efficiently within a fast-paced school
environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
suited for collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
Familiarity with K-12 developmental stages and related occupational
therapy interventions. Location: Bronx, New York Position Type:
