Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Brooklyn, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,083 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Brooklyn, New York, 11213! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 9 AM - 5 PM or to 6 PM; must be flexible for hours Experience: 2 years critical care experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: BSN prepared Description: Utilize the nursing process in the provision of direct patient care. Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating all care provided to assigned patients. Delivery of care is based on the standards of care and practices established by the Department of Nursing and policies and procedures. Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being. Supervise patient care provided by licensed practical nurses, registered nurses on permit, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff. Assess the immediate and continuing care needs of the patient and significant others. Develop comprehensive and current plans of care which include physical needs, patient teaching, discharge planning, and psychosocial/spiritual needs. Provide direct patient care based on assessed needs and the medical regimen. Oversee and ensure the provision of all aspects of care for the patient. Supervise the care provided by other nursing personnel as defined in the scope of practice. Observe, evaluate, document, and communicate to relevant team members the patient's response to illness and/or therapeutic modalities. Ensure timely reassessment of patient responses to treatment and when significant changes occur in patient condition and/or diagnosis. Coordinate the overall plan of care to ensure implementation of nursing interventions and consistency with the medical regimen. Establish priorities for care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and initiate follow-up as indicated to ensure timely provision of patient care and therapeutic modalities. Ensure the plan of care integrates age-specific care needs. Accept responsibility and accountability for nursing interventions and outcomes based on professional clinical judgments. Participate in quality improvement activities related to patient care delivery and the development of nursing standards. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, manage stressful situations appropriately, and facilitate interpersonal relationships with other disciplines. Participate in the orientation of nursing staff. Assume charge responsibilities as delegated by the Nurse/Manager designee. Ensure appropriate coverage of all patients by assisting and relieving co-workers, and working on other units as assigned. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, significant others, and staff. Serve as a clinical resource for student nurses. Participate in meetings, committees, conferences, and educational programs. Participate in research and pilot projects supported by the Nursing Department. Demonstrate responsibility for continuing professional growth and education, including attendance at staff development and continuing education programs. Pursue baccalaureate or graduate degrees in nursing and appropriate professional certifications. Participate in appropriate professional and community organizations. Required Skills: Knowledge and competency of both interventional and diagnostic procedures. Ability to fully utilize electronic record systems, equipment, and other healthcare and billing systems relevant to this position. Good interpersonal skills.
