TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
Med/Surg RN in Brooklyn, New York, 11207! Job Title: Registered
Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
8:00 PM - 8:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum
of two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital
setting. License: New York State RN License Certifications: AHA
BLS, AHA ACLS (if applicable) Must-Have: - Acute Facilities: The
most recent experience should be within the past year. - Post Acute
Facilities: The most recent experience should be within the past
year. - Physical assessment. - Medication administration. - Wound
care and infection control. - IV therapy. - Post-operative care. -
Patient education. - Telemetry monitoring. Description: Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation
with healthcare professionals. Evaluate medical information and
provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and
post-surgery patients. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed
medications. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed and interpret and
record measurements. Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse
reactions to medications in a timely manner. Collaborate on
discharge planning with the healthcare team. Answer questions and
educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and
post-surgery care. Maintain and update patient files, medical
charts, and health records. Adhere to best nursing practices,
