Caregiver Recognition & Rewards Program Direct Deposit Paid Sick Time Health Benefits for you and your family Employee discount program Free financial fitness program We always treat you with respect Family-owned agency since 2002 Ongoing Training Annual party to mingle with your co-workers The Home Health Aid responsibilities and duties: Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (assisting with bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair) Ambulation/Transfers Eating Dressing/Shaving Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany the patient on errands or medical appointments. Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Medication reminders Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises Measuring and preparing special diets Understanding dementia care Incontinence care Qualifications and Skills for Home Health Aide: High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Two years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) is preferred Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. Possess a valid drivers license and an insured automobile A current CHHA license from the New Jersey Board of Nursing Must be at least 18 years of age
