The Grand Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our esteemed team in Queens, New York. As an LPN at our facility, you will play a critical role in providing top-tier rehabilitative and nursing care to our patients. This position demands a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care as per our high standards, while efficiently working under the direction of registered nurses and doctors. You will be instrumental in administering medications, caring for wounds, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients throughout their recovery process. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepare patients and assist in examinations and treatments by specialists. Observe patients, manage their care, comfort, safety, and maintain the standard hygiene practices. Communicate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care. Strong practical nursing skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in maintaining records and writing reports Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of basic healthcare regulations and patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current LPN license in the state of New York CPR certified
