Job Description:

Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to oversee our rehabilitation and long-term care units. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional care and support to our residents through comprehensive rehabilitation services, skilled nursing care, and wellness programs. The Unit Manager will lead a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained while fostering an environment that supports the well-being and recovery of our residents. Manage daily operations of the unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care. Implement and monitor unit policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients and compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in the budgeting process and manage resources to optimize financial and operational performance. Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain communication among healthcare providers, patients, and their families. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-stress environment Proficient in healthcare management systems and patient care software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid RN license preferred Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification desired BLS/ACLS certification
