Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. This role involves
assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and
fluency disorders. Our center is committed to enhancing patient
wellness and providing high-quality rehabilitation and skilled
nursing care. The successful candidate will create tailored therapy
plans and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to
support patient rehabilitation goals. Evaluate patient speech,
language, and cognitive-communication disorders Develop and
implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate speech therapy
with overall care plans Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatments as necessary Educate patients and family members about
communication strategies and coping mechanisms Maintain accurate
patient records and documentation Expertise in speech and language
assessment tools Ability to create and implement effective therapy
plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in
the use of technology for therapy and record-keeping Knowledge of
healthcare regulations and safety standards Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state license in
Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
