Fidelity Investments is seeking a seasoned Principal Full Stack Engineer to drive innovation in digital finance. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of our platform, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that enhance client experiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate leading-edge technologies with our financial services. Leveraging your vast experience in full stack development, you will be tasked with building secure, high-performing applications that redefine industry standards and push the boundaries of technology in finance. Design, develop, and optimize major high-performance features and systems. Collaborate with various teams to define requirements and integrate technological advancements. Monitor, test, and continuously optimize your designs to ensure performance and scalability. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one server-side language (e.g., Python, Java). Strong understanding of database management and security protocols. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in DevOps, continuous integration, and development lifecycle best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
