culture.We are looking for a Product Analyst to configure, maintain
and enhance the use of our clinical applications including the Care
Management system (Salesforce Health Cloud) and Electronic Health
Record (athenaOne). This individual will be a member of our
technology team, but will need to work very closely with clinical
stakeholders to ensure that the system is configured to support our
front line staff. Responsibilities will combine problem-solving,
data-analysis, and technical skills to identify, quantify, and
solve real-world healthcare workflow problems and deliver
prescriptive, actionable solutions to stakeholders as well as
communicate recommendations. The candidate will assist with
managing projects and implementing workflows, and must demonstrate
having technical knowledge of athenaOne EHR configuration (or
similar) to guide staff and users in their use of the systems to
advance workflows to optimal efficiency. We are looking for someone
who is comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization
and who understands the importance of the internal customer. The
ideal candidate will have some experience in a start-up type of
environment, looking for an opportunity where they can be a true
subject matter expert and bring tremendous value to the
organization on a daily basis.Job Responsibilities
- Monitors daily issues in Jira Service Management and helps
bring those issues to resolution.
- Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving
skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to
maximize system potential.
- Documents and reports system issues to
managers/supervisors.
- Participates in workflow design and understands system impact
to end users.
- Prepares demo materials for workflow discussions or new system
functionality.
- Creates documentation and trains end users on newly implemented
workflows.
- Assists providers and support staff with adoption of new
functionality and re-design of workflows to reflect Best Practice
clinical and outreach operations.
- Supports the organization's efforts to meet NCQA Accreditation,
Meaningful Use, medical coding best practices, and other Quality
Improvement Program goals.
- Stays current with new application functionality and
enhancements.
- Achieves and maintains application certification in accordance
with departmental and organizational standards.
- Provides end user support as a subject matter expert during
implementation of clinical applications.
- Participates in and leads substantial research and analysis
projects that span a variety of topics across outreach, clinical
operations, finance, product, and technology teams.
- Translates findings into what is relevant at a business level,
and serves as a liaison to internal/external stakeholders.
- Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR application
configuration.
- Creates functional specification documents to create content
within the EHR application.
- Completes thorough testing of all configurations prior to
handoff for functional and/or integrated testing.
- Facilitates functional and integrated application testing as
requested, with internal teams and/or external vendors.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding information being
processed, stored or accessed by the applications.
- Performs all other duties as needed.Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities
- Fundamental knowledge of computer systems and their use.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and time management
skills.
- Experience configuring and building flowsheets, templates,
macros and forms in EHR/EMR and Care Management applications
(athenaOne and Salesforce Health Cloud preferred)
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and
participate in their resolution with highest customer
satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group
setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the
group growth and expansion including on call hours.Minimum
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual
should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet
the amount of education, training and/or work experience required.
- 2+ years' experience configuring and supporting athenaOne EHR
(or similar).
- 2+ years' experience working in a health care setting.
- Experience supporting technology products and developing
functional requirements.
- Experience working with stakeholders and users to understand
needs and deliver solutions.
- Experience translating functional requirements into technical
rules and configurations within vendor systems.Education and
Experience
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in health informatics, computer
science, or related field.
- Experience with athenaOne EHR suite and Salesforce Health Cloud
