adults in their transition to independence through residences and a

young adults pursue their individual life goals. We are looking for
a passionate, detail-oriented, and innovative Assistant Director of
Operations to join our New York City team and contribute to our
goal of making a difference. We are seeking a hands-on,
detail-driven Assistant Director of Operations to support both our
Quality Assurance (QA) program and day-to-day operational flow.
Using data to strengthen our practice, the ideal candidate will be
comfortable navigating technology and possess program analysis
capabilities. Position Summary: The Assistant Director of
Operations is a strategic leader responsible for managing
administrative functions, facilities operations, and ad-hoc
projects within a fast-paced recovery housing program. This role
works closely with the Assistant Directors of the Main House and
TLP programs to ensure alignment and consistency across sites and
services. Reporting to the Program Director, the Assistant Director
collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to address both
immediate issues and long-term operational trends, while
continuously refining and implementing standard operating
procedures to promote clarity, compliance, and staff
accountability. What You Will Do: Lead internal audits, data
reviews, and quality assurance initiatives to ensure program
integrity, documentation accuracy, and service excellence across
all operational areas Partner with leadership to design, refine,
and implement systems and workflows that strengthen organizational
performance, compliance, and client outcomes Provide operational
oversight across facilities, technology, finance, records and
internal processes, using a data-informed lens to proactively
identify trends, resolve issues, and drive process improvement
Manage all aspects of facilities operations, including vendor
relationships and agreements, maintenance coordination, and site
safety (e.g., fire extinguisher/first aid inspections, safety
drills) Oversee and approve monthly expense reporting for all
corporate accounts by properly maintaining Google Sheets of budget,
reconciling all site expenses in Fyle and providing expense
substantiation Manage all aspects of client charting, including new
client admissions and discharges Manage turnover of beds and room
preparation for new resident arrival Conduct Quality Assurance
Reviews (audits) to confirm the documentation of ongoing residents
are accurate and up-to-date Manage key budgets and expenses by
location Lead overall accounts payable and receivables Manage
supply inventory, ordering and stocking of all BioReference
Laboratory supplies Manage IT partner for daily operations and
manage on-site technology troubleshooting with support from IT
(Wifi connectivity, printer / scanner, ViewSonic projector etc)
Identify areas of process improvement as it relates to day-to-day
business and facility operations Responsible for maintaining and
ensuring compliance with client and company confidentiality
standards and ethical expectations Participate in critical incident
investigations and reviews Train new staff on program policies,
procedures, and documentation expectations Maintains credit card,
debit card and petty cash in a secure location for approved team
use as well as a secure repository for credit card receipts Other
responsibilities as assigned by Program Director What You Need to
Qualify: Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience
in adolescent or young adult treatment Center, preferably in an
administrative, quality assurance or operations role in a
residential setting Bachelor's degree in business, public policy,
finance, human resources or other related field, preferred Highly
organized, process-oriented, with the ability to effectively
prioritize, multi-task and be a self-starter Mastery of Google
Programs and other computer skills including Fyle and/or other
receipt processing and budget management software Possess superb
project management, organization and prioritization skills Strong
interpersonal, customer service and problem solving skills Ability
to think creatively, innovate, demonstrate initiative and follow
through Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Pursue everything with energy and drive; ability to guide others
for results Experience with program auditing and analyzing results
to produce findings, make recommendations, and follow-up to reach
outcomes is a plus Experience conducting qualitative and/or
quantitative research is a plus Knowledge of statistical techniques
for predictive analytics is a plus Ability to work overtime and
occasional weekend work as needed Ability to participate in on call
coverage rotation for a week once a month Must be able to lift and
transport moderate to heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as part of room
setup, resident move-ins, stocking supplies and related
