Job Description Job Description Our client, a global consumer goods company, is seeking a Lab Analyst (level 1) to join their team. As a Lab Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the analytical chemistry laboratory. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quality Control laboratory for a global consumer goods or pharma company, knowledge of laboratory testing techniques, and proficiency in all laboratory equipment. Job Title: Lab Analyst (level 1) Location: Melville, NY Pay Range: $28 per hour What's the Job? Conduct laboratory testing techniques (GMP, GDP and Good Lab Practices) Proficient use of all laboratory equipment (e.g., Viscometer, Basic Wet Chemistry analysis) Write SOPs, deviations, change controls and OOS reports Communicate information to management Problem solving skills What's Needed? Experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory in Quality Control for a global consumer goods or pharma company Awareness and practice of safe lab procedures Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques (GMP, GDP and Good Lab Practices) and proficient use of all laboratory equipment (e.g., Viscometer, Basic Wet Chemistry analysis) Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate information to management Ability to write SOPs, deviations, change controls and OOS reports Problem solving skills Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients & manufacturing procedures preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP systems is preferred Must be flexible to work different shifts and overtime as needed Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
