A School Social Worker is needed to conduct case evaluations in Oxford, NJ, serving children in a first-grade elementary school setting. This contract position supports the Child Study Team by completing social history assessments and evaluations for initial student referrals. The role requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish to effectively perform assessments and communicate with students and families. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive social history evaluations as part of child study team assessments Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary staff to support student well-being Prepare detailed evaluation reports in the required format by specified deadlines Engage with students and families in a culturally sensitive and bilingual manner Adhere to scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with student sessions from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of reports Desired Qualifications and Experience: Active licensure as a School Social Worker Proven experience performing social work assessments in school settings Bilingual Spanish-English skills essential for assessment and communication Strong knowledge of child developmental and educational needs Ability to work independently within evaluation timelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Location: Oxford, NJ (Warren County area) This contract assignment offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student success through focused social evaluations.
