Headway, a leader in advancing mental health therapies, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to enhance our offering of accessible, insurance-compatible mental health services. As an LMFT at Headway, you will play a critical role in fostering healthy family dynamics and supporting individuals through tailored therapeutic interventions. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual and family needs. Develop and implement detailed treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide ongoing therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, aimed at resolving emotional, relational, and behavioral issues. Document and maintain patient records with strict adherence to legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients. Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of advancements in the field. Participate in community outreach programs to advocate for mental health awareness. Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and models, particularly those relevant to marriage and family therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Skill in crisis management and intervention. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
